In depth

Verdict

DAYTIME AHEAD reverts to hurdles on a 3lb lower mark than when scoring at Exeter a year ago and Harry Cobden looks a significant jockey booking for Ron Hodges’ grey. Jedhi was useful on the Flat but has refused to settle over hurdles, though she’s travelled a long way for this. Sashenka won four times on the level and was travelling best when falling two out at Catterick last time so looks a threat to all while Sweet Adare has been keeping good company. Triple Nickle won a novice event over track and trip recently and adds to the interest.
