      Verdict

Saby has yet to finish out of the first two this campaign and can land this contest from Robyn Alexander and Barnards Green. This six-year-old went down without a fight at Stratford last time when beaten eleven lengths by Young Owen, but the ground may have been too soft. All his winning has come on a fast surface, so as long as the rain stays away he will be difficult to beat here. Robyn Alexander took well to chasing last season, finishing with an easy victory in a three runner affair. The handicapper has taken no chances, but she should still be in the firing line. Down at the bottom of the handicap Barnards Green catches the eye following an effortless success over Celtic Star last time. Jupon Vert can also be given a chance on the pick of last season's form, but if the ground doesn't get any worse than good, Saby looks the pick.
