In depth

Verdict

Tom George has his yard in fine fettle and Smoking Jacket confirmed that chasing will be his metier when scoring nicely at Stratford last month on just his second start over fences. He's on a good mark and seems sure to improve. It is hard to ignore his claims but LETHERIVERRUNDRY is another who has always been a chaser in the making and a chance is taken that he will be ready for this fencing debut after hacking up when last seen at Market Rasen in May. Sirabad is also respected as he has useful form and more experience than the aforementioned pair, whilst the hard-to-assess Burtons Well and lightly-weighted The Coffee Hunter are also noteworthy.
