In depth

Verdict

Lusis Naturea gave husband and wife team Eoin Barry and Karen Ferris a comfortable victory at Down Royal and the seven-year-old looks to have more to offer now he's struck form. Nulife won on the Flat in July and ran his best race over timber for a while at Bellewstown last week so should again go well though Realta Dawn, who wasn't far behind in fourth, was in the lead at the last and only faded on the run-in. However, it's impossible to overlook the claims of SHOW AND GO (NAP) as Henry De Bromhead's charge has completed a double in strong company over fences and is 27lb lower over hurdles plus his rider's 7lb claim.
