Verdict

Canada Street gets the confident vote to win the opener with Maryscross and Ad Murum rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Aces Four last time out. That form has since been franked and under conditions that suit he is impossible to oppose. Marycross rates the main danger on his latest third behind Giovanna but even that effort leaves him with a little to find with the selection. Ad Murum was a fair fourth behind Character Building last time and could improve for this longer trip and with his yard in top form he should be closely watched in the market. Of the remainder Bob Scotton will relish the conditions and is another that could go well if fit after a 355-day absence but Canada Street looks to have plenty in hand and will be hard to beat.
