Verdict

Lady Samback was third at Perth in July but well beaten and none of the others with experience have shown much so far. SAMMAMISH is by leading NH sire Oscar and the first foal to race of a mare that won a couple of bumpers and four times over hurdles. Malcolm Jefferson’s bumper horses are usually ready to run so she may be the one to beat. Belle Amis also has a very nice pedigree as her dam won bumpers and a Grade 2 over timber so Fergal O’Brien’s mare looks a danger.
