Verdict

A field large in numbers but low in quality and on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be Katmandu, Cigarillo and Powder Creek and the confident vote goes to Katmandu. The selection won well last time out when defeating Valeureux, the step up in trip is sure to suit and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Cigarillo rates the main danger he has won his last two races in good style he defeated Your A Gassman last time out but he will do well to give weight and a beating to the selection. Powder Creek is the only other one that can be seriously considered he was a fair third behind Lucky Duck last time but he may do better over a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Common Girl has shown glimmers of ability and could run well at a price but for the winner we return to Katmandu.
