Verdict

MILES TO MILAN made a winning start over fences in a beginners’ chase over 3m at Ayr back in May. He could only manage third over a shorter trip at Chepstow last month but should go close returning to today’s distance. Captain Mowbray has struggled since scoring at Cartmel earlier and Kelso winner Bright Prospect would prefer some cut in the ground. Bafana Blue is hard to predict having won at Hexham in between poor efforts and Chebsey Beau is also inconsistent though won off a similar mark at Market Rasen last year.
