Verdict

MOUNT MEWS made an impressive start over hurdles at Kelso to maintain his unbeaten record. Travelling strongly throughout, he quickened when asked and looks a nice prospect who should be capable of giving 6lb to Ludlow runner-up Melrose Boy. Creep Desbois can only improve on his fifth at Newbury while Eaton Hill was second three times behind useful types in bumpers and should do even better over hurdles.
