In depth

Verdict

Satish Seemar has three entries and Souls In The Wind may prove best of them though she'll need to make major progress to take a hand, even in this poor contest. Al Abyad ran poorly on Dirt here last month but Kahrab, who showed potential for Mark Johnston, ran very well over the track and trip in November before a poor effort on a return visit. The latter's stable companion Decruz finished last on his debut at Bath in June and didn't fare much better here in November. SYNCOPATION was placed twice when trained by Sylvester Kirk and should be good enough to make a successful start for Mike De Kock though Doug Watson's newcomer General Line wouldn't need to be a world-beater to make a winning debut.
