MASTER JAKE followed four second places on heavy going with a victory in a novices' handicap at this level at Fakenham where he was suited by the much quicker conditions. He can complete a double, though the last time In The Rough ran on quick ground he won a Uttoxeter handicap from exactly the same mark as today while Global Dream completed a Leicester double before blundering his way round Newbury. Wilberdragon is looking a few pounds high in the weights and though Purcell's Bridge won comfortably at Haydock he steps up a grade from a 3lb higher mark. Boric bounced back to form when landing a Sedgefield handicap in first-time blinkers though they aren't certain to work again.
