    Verdict

Ravens Hill had 13 starts on the Flat and three over hurdles in Ireland without winning though his fourth behind Lord Justice on his latest start over timber at Ballinrobe in September was a very good effort. Moon Arrow made a promising debut over hurdles at Catterick in February and started favourite at Haydock the following month but broke a blood vessel. New List scored between the flags in Ireland and ran well for a long way on his debut for Brian Ellison here last month but Flat winner Bob's Boy has been well beaten since a reasonable debut here in January. LORD TOPPER, a winner at Chelmsford in October for Charlie Hills, was having his first subsequent start and making his hurdling debut when a close fourth at Huntingdon earlier this month and, with that under his belt, looks the one to be on.
