In depth

Verdict

LONG LUNCH made a very promising start to his career when only beaten a length at Huntingdon last month. Charlie Longsdon's Kayf Tara gelding can go one better here. Oscar Fortune was a fair fourth to Doctor Harper at Sandown in February and shouldn't be far away but Lord Brendy has his first run since finishing second at Sedgefield in December. Clan William finished ahead of Lord Usher at Catterick in December while Morning Reggie looks the pick of the newcomers but is likely to do better when faced with a set of hurdles.
