Verdict

With only five of these boasting previous experience the market may prove the best guide. Runswick Royal has a penalty after winning over a similar trip at Haydock but appears to have the beating of Mightavago and Farmer's Friend on a line through Vinstar. Malcolm Jefferson's bumper horses always warrant respect but Croxton Kerrial was very green at Ayr so we'll concentrate on the newcomers. Midnight Thomas, Plain Sailing and Zermatt could be interesting but Alan Swinbank's BIGGINS BOY will almost certainly know what's required and the Motivator gelding, who is Flat-bred, may just have too much pace for these.
