In depth

Verdict

This is another competitive race in which Snow's Ride, St Pirran and Kentucky Blue look to be the leading lights and the vote is given to the last mentioned. The selection was pulled-up when last seen out when he was the favourite at this track. He has had a short break since that outing and if he could get anywhere his best today he would have to have a leading chance. Snow's Ride has been in good form but he gave the impression last time out that a step-up in trip would see him in a better light and for that reason he is opposed. St Pirran shaped as though returning to form last time but he is better over the bigger obstacles and he will probably be worth following when he goes chasing again. Ebinzayd is the other to consider although he failed to get round on his seasonal reappearance. This is a fascinating contest in which we will side with Kentucky Blue.
