Verdict

Pablo Du Charmil is hard to oppose in this company and is readily preferred to Swing Ball and Offemont. The last named is in danger of becoming disappointing after failing to sparkle for Lavinia Taylor and now Noel Chance after he posted a modest effort at Haydock last time. He may be better suited by this small field but needs to post a much improved effort today. Swing Ball has taken well to fences and shapes as if there is a small prize to be won with him somewhere along the line. He gets 10lbs from the selection on these terms and has a feasible chance of making him pull out all the stops. However, Pablo Du Charmil has some useful form to his name and is expected to have the class to cope with his disposition at the weights.
