    Verdict

Jake The Snake was racing off a 15lb higher mark a year ago and returned to Turf at Goodwood last time to gain his first success on the surface. Join Up has won eight races in his career but a penalty for last week's C&D success takes him to a high mark and KNOW NO FEAR, who was a couple of lengths behind a week ago, can reverse the form and take this as he was having his first start since November that day. Jalors hasn't had much racing and is still a maiden but looks a threat as he's one of the few with scope to do better but First Class Favour only ever wins at Catterick and not since 2010. Big Bay was a disappointing favourite at Yarmouth last month and will need to do better.
