Verdict

These races are often something of a lottery at this time of year but Piaff Bubbles will be expected to do better than at Plumpton in December. Blue Cato ran a fair race on Polytrack last month and Fame And Concrete and Mucho Mas won at Southwell and Wincanton respectively with preference for the latter of the two penalised runners. HIGH WORTH’s half-brother Stoner’s Choice won his bumper here before going on to win three times over hurdles. The four-year-old represents very powerful connections and it will be a surprise if he doesn’t know what’s required.
