Verdict

Karakoram came good at Ludlow last month but is now 7lb higher. Lightly Squeeze is 0-5 over timber but started favourite when third at Wincanton at the end of last year and has won on soft going on the Flat this year. Star of Rory and Comber Mill both signed off last season with a victory with the former’s win coming over course and distance on similar ground but we just prefer AVANTGARDIST. He also ended the last campaign in fine form and gives the impression he will have more to offer this term. Knight Destroyer went close here in May so may be best of the rest.
