Verdict

Not the strongest of handicaps so a chance is taken with COURT OF LAW. The Court Cave gelding is down to a very workable mark of just 87, handles good ground and Donald McCain has his string in decent form at present. If he can recapture something approaching his best, he'd be the one to beat. He's obviously far from rock-solid and Double Chocolate looks the likely beneficiary if the top weight fails to spark as he is at his best on the quicker ground and looks nicely treated. Tinelyra is not as bad as recent form figures suggest and is next best off the bottom perch in a trappy little heat.
