In depth

Verdict

Not surprisingly there is little form for backers to go on in this two-year-old seller and there are some interesting newcomers including three from the stable of David Evans with Joyously looking the pick of his trio over Littleportnbrandy and Welsh Dresser, who will surely do better over further, but experience may prove to be decisive and preference is for CRAZY IN LOVE. Bill Turner tends to do pretty well with his runners in this grade and the daughter of Bertolini looks worth siding with having run promisingly on her debut in a Lingfield maiden on the Polytrack with her dam sire Efisio being an influence for handling the testing ground. Kevin Ryan saddles a son of Compton Place in Copex and she has to be respected on her debut for a stable in good form, while Mick Channon's Imperial Waltzer was well held on similar ground in a maiden at Folkestone at the beginning of the month when looking as though she would ideally want further and looks best watched. Joyously and the other two runners from the yard to David Evans have to be respected but a better bet looks to be Crazy In Love.
