Verdict

PEARL ROYALE ran well enough for fifth in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham in November. That looks good enough form in this context and she gets the nod. Carnspindle should be sharper for a recent outing at Towcester but one of the newcomers may prove a bigger threat. Never Been Wrong is a half-sister to a winning chaser and is preferred to Quine des Champs while The Mistress is related to a winner over hurdles and could also figure for Dan Skelton.
