Peter Bowen has done an excellent job to coax CYGNET back to form and the Dansili gelding still looks on a feasible mark of 112 having dropped down the ratings before the rediscovery of form. He made the anticipated improvement on his first outing for the Dr Newland yard when scoring here but then blew out completely when a tailed-off last of four next time when odds-on. He races off a dangerous mark and needs keeping on the right side.
