In depth

Verdict

Plum Pudding appears to have lost his chance of ending his losing run as he's gone up in the weights again since seconds at Huntingdon and at Fakenham. Dark Glacier only found one too good at Leicester last time but is hardly consistent while What A Good Night fell at Ludlow on his latest start, though was alongside a subsequent winner at the time. BENNYS WELL has a second and a win to his name over this course and distance and was clear of the third when chasing home the well-treated Quayside Court at Southwell at the start of the month. He's 2lb higher here but Jonathan England takes off 5lb and Sue Smith's seven-year-old looks the one to beat as Rocky Bender may need more time.
