Very little form to go on here and so we will take a chance on Sattelight, with Ding Dong Belle and Kingscourt Lad put forward as the main dangers. This is a very rare excursion into National Hunt racing for Mick Channon so that in itself is enough to take an interest in Sattelight. She is also very well bred by Fraam out of a Niniski mare so may have too much class for this opposition. Another newcomer worthy of inspection is Sue Smith's Ding Dong Belle, the stable do very well in this type of event so any market interest in this daughter of Minster Son should be heeded. The best of the experienced runners may be Jonjo O'Neill's Irish recruit Kingscourt Lad, who was noted staying on well at the finish when making his racecourse debut at Fairyhouse. The betting market should give us plenty of clues in this fascinating contest, but without that information Sattelight is the one we choose.
