In depth

Verdict

Rested since wind surgery in October, THE CRAFTY TOUCH reappears on a potentially lenient mark in modest company and Jonjo O’Neill’s winning pointer will be fancied to record a first win under Rules. Lightening Dance was a surprise winner at Southwell but is only 4lb higher and Brian Hughes keeps the partnership intact. Lilypad has been raised 7lb for scoring in a lower grade at Newton Abbot with I'lletyougonow less exposed over timber. Cotton End is now 0-14 but still slipping down the weights.
