Verdict

Ben Pauling’s stable is in good form and this looks a good opportunity for the once-raced THE COB, who was easy to back at Ffos Las in January but came home strongly and will know more today. Jackson Hill placed at Ballinrobe and Sandown on his first two starts but was a major disappointment when favourite at Plumpton in December, finishing well behind debutant Moroder, though has had wind surgery since. Newcomers Albert George and The Big Yin are probably best watched unless the market suggests otherwise.
