In depth

Verdict

This is Solstice Star’s trip nowadays and he’s won three of his last four so should give Brodie Hampson a good ride. Lizzie Kelly and Bryony Frost have both ridden winners at Cheltenham this week and partner Too Many Chiefs and Nearly Perfect respectively. Diger Daudie ran very well at Chepstow on his handicap debut and is definitely one for the short-list but PERFECT MAN has been dropped a further pound since attracting market support here last month. He made late headway having been given plenty to do and Alice Stevens takes off a further 7lb today. Holdbacktheriver won a chase at Bangor in January but was well behind Solstice Star when last seen over hurdles.
