In depth

Verdict

Poppy Kay won over course and distance in November, when Lagavara was third, but then ran a shocker in the mud at Chepstow behind Bobble Boru. The latter wasn’t beaten far off this mark last time at Exeter but has been on the go for a long time. Daisy De Sivola is only four but has been dropped 6lb since her fifth at Ludlow and may now be ready to do herself justice. ALIZEE JAVILEX has been a little disappointing so far over hurdles but she gets in here off a plater’s mark and a repeat of her latest fourth at Leicester would put her bang in the picture.
