Fleeting Moment gained his only career success in 43 starts over timber on this track and was only beaten a head by Belair over the C&D in June. He should be competitive but his strike-rate hardly inspires confidence. Bay Swallow, Fammi Sognare and Billys Dream occupied the first three places in a handicap over the C&D in June and there is little between the trio here though none of them have been in inspiring form subsequently. DUSTY TRAIL won this from a 2lb higher mark a year ago when Bay Swallow was behind. He's struggled at the weights since but he's been racing over different trips and a return to his favourite track may bring about enough improvement to produce a repeat victory.
