Verdict

Nant Saeson didn't show a great deal of progress when third at Sandown last time, though he's still preferred to Thirsty Bear and Humungosaur. However, three of the newcomers take the eye and one of them could easily be good enough to score at the first time of asking. The American-bred Tales Of Grimm cost 320,000gns at the sales in April but has no fancy entries as yet, while Firdaws is out of an Oaks winner and has an entry in the Fillies Mile at Newmarket next month. John Gosden won a division of this in 2009 with Breeders' Cup Juvenile hero Pounced and entries in the Dewhurst and the Racing Post Trophy suggest THE NILE could be of a similar ilk. He gets the vote here.
