Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Jaunty Flight could hardly have won more comfortably when successful at Huntingdon last week and Oliver Sherwood's gelding is taken to defy the penalty for that success, getting the vote over Cortesia and Baseball Ted. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of these after just four starts and may do better now sent handicapping. David Pipe has his string in good form at present and his runner Loom is another that makes his debut in a handicap today and has to be considered. Caroline Bailey's Earlsfield Raider has won his last two starts, both in selling hurdles, but has harshly been raised 8lbs since the latest of those successes, while Lupita ran better at Fontwell last time but has yet to confirm his liking for testing conditions. Cortesia did everything asked of her when making a winning debut at Bangor last month and has to be considered but preference is for recent Huntingdon winner Jaunty Flight.
