Verdict

With Peter Bowen in sparkling form, Dragon King can keep up the run, with Spread The Word, Silent Snipe and Aircon also expected to make their presence felt. With the Welsh stable firing on all cylinders at present, confidence in Dragon King will be high. The 11-year-old has been a model of consistency this season, and his tendency to jump to the right will not matter here. Nor will his front-running style, and with Tom Greenway taking off a handy seven pounds, he looks sure to dominate proceedings. Spread The Word was held up when scoring over the course and distance recently, but is upped in grade and cannot afford to let the selection get too far in front. Silent Snipe is another who takes a hike in class but has a low weight and and should not be ruled out, while Aircon could be a banker for the frame. With Parlour Game anchored by topweight, we return to Dragon King as the choice in a decent contest.
