Verdict

A wide-open handicap chase gets proceedings underway and there is very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Spidey, Something Gold and Golly and the narrow vote is given to Golly. The selection is game consistent goes on any ground and looks on a fair mark and he looks a value bet in a trappy affair. Spidey hails from a top in form yard and although he has shown little it looks significant that his shrewd yard are persevering with him and he should be watched in the market. Something Gold was a fair fifth behind Eurocelt last time. He is sure to have come on for the run and with his yard begining to hit top form he could go well at a price. Glen Thyne loves it round here and has to be feared on that alone. Sitting Duck looks well weighted on his best form and looks sure to make a bold bid to make all. Of the others Kerry's Blade is thorn in on his best form and will not be far away if his jumping holds up but that is a big if and with this in mind for the winner we return to Golly to small stakes.
