Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this handicap chase and the principals look to be Lik Wood Power, Fiery Peace and Phildari and the confident vote goes to Lik Wood Power. The selection won well last time out when defeating Little Big Horse and although he has a penalty for that win he will be hard to beat if in the same mood he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Fiery Peace rates the main danger on his latest third behind Sky Warrior but that form has since been let down. Phildari is another worthy of respect on his best form but he has only one win to his name and that came in a maiden chase and he has struggled in handicaps of late. Of the remainder Arctic Spirit was a fair second in a hurdle behind Bid Spotter last time but his over all form over fences leaves him with a little to find and for the winner we return to Lik Wood Power
