Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this classified chase and the principals look to be Croc An Oir, River Trix and The Hearty Joker and the confident vote goes to Croc An Oir. The selection won well last time out when defeating Baron Alfours and under similar conditions he will be hard to beat in what looks a poor race. River Trix rates the main danger on his best form but that has come with more cut in the ground and with this very fast surface not sure to suit he is passed over on this occasion. The Hearty Joker is another that could go well he has been in fair form over hurdles of late and returns to chasing on a fair mark do he should not be far away. Of the remainder Pangeran has the ability to go close but he continues to be let down by his jumping and for the winner we return to the unexposed Croc An Oir.
