Verdict

A very interesting beginners' chase which features several that should go on to better things. Dica and Present To You have already shown fair form over the larger obstacles while Christopher Wren will have learned plenty from his chasing bow at Newton Abbot. My Brother Sylvest and Thanks For Coming should certainly be monitored in the betting as both represent powerful yards while the four-year-old Creekside has plenty of scope and gets 10lb from the older horses. Oscar Leney has won a point-to-point but the interesting one may be HAZY TOM. Fifth in a Listed hurdle at Aintree on his final start of last season, he won twice over timber around this time last year before having his sights raised and appeals as the type to go well fresh.
