Verdict

Just a four runner affair where Highjacked looks out-classed, so it should rest between Freedom Fighter, Grecian Star, and Fanion de Nourry, with the former getting the nod. Rosemary Gasson's thirteen-year-old was well beaten on his last outing at Cheltenham, but it better judged on his previous effort when a close up fourth behind Lancastrian Jet. Tonight's company isn't too strong and the selection should take first prize. Grecian Star and Fanion de Nourry can slug it out for the runners-up spot. The former has winning form last season and will improve for a recent outing at Cheltenham. Fanion du Nourry was a modest third behind Fair Wind at Towcester last month and has to be considered in this weak contest. Freedom Fighter though looks the best of a bad bunch and gets the verdict.
