    Verdict

AP McCoy partnered My Viking Bay to success here on that contender's penultimate outing with a brilliant riding performance so it has to be significant that he transfers his allegiance to GREENLAW here. A bumper winner at Huntingdon on debut, the Sherwood charge hasn't really built on that initial success whilst at the same time not being disgraced in better races than this. Going OK when unluckily clipping heels last time, this looks a decent opportunity to get back on the winning track. My Viking Bay is basically a selling performer and Soundbyte, a five-time Flat winner, could be the main threat after just three runs over hurdles. He should certainly improve on achievements to date.
