ECHION finished ahead of more strongly fancied stablemates when third on his debut at Salisbury. With Ryan Moore taking over the reins, he's fancied to reverse running with the runner-up Bairam and open his account. The latter should be thereabouts once again as should Forray, who encounters fast ground for the first time after finishing second over C&D last time, though he was still beaten three lengths. The newcomer Miss Starry Eyed has plenty of speed in her pedigree and looks best of the remainder.

Barracuda Boy (IRE) 15-8fav (9-3) Dwelt, soon led, ridden and headed over 1f out, soon weakened, 5th of 7, 11l behind Euxton Hall (9-3) at Haydock 6f 2yo mdn (5) gs in May.
Echion 14-1 (9-3) Took keen hold, chased leaders on outside, went 3rd 2f out, stayed on inside final furlong, 3rd of 7, 1 1/2l behind Ask The Guru (9-3) at Salisbury 5f 2yo mdn (5) gd in May.
