Roger Varian sent Realtra to Fairyhouse for a Group 3 last month and the grey duly obliged before finding Group 1 company too tough in France. She has a penalty to carry here which won't aid her cause though she still looks better than fellow raider Same Jurisdiction, though the latter should soon be adding to the seven victories she gained in the USA. Raymonda wasn't far behind Realtra at Fairyhouse but didn't run so well on softer ground at Galway behind MUSIC BOX. Aidan O'Brien's filly is ultra-consistent and might have been unlucky in a Leopardstown Group 3 last time so looks the one to be on. Drumfad Bay beat the selection over a mile on good ground at Killarney and was conceding her 3lb in that latest run at Galway so it will be a surprise if she isn't involved in the finish.
