In depth

Verdict

A low-grade contest in which Irish Reel is likely to be in the firing-line as she has been on her last two starts though they have both been on very testing going over a mile so she could do with some rain. After two decent efforts over today's trip, MOUNTAIN MAMA went to Killarney last week with a favourite's chance but found the extra furlong against her. She gets the vote from her lowly mark here with Conor Hoban's claim a bonus. Danequest has won just once in 18 starts but is very consistent and this trip appears to be his best judging on his two latest runs. He can get into the mix here along with Packsapunch, who is gradually dropping to a winning mark.
