In depth

Verdict

BUCKERS BRIDGE, a winning point-to-pointer and bumper, starts his chasing career in what looks a tough beginners' event but he's looked such a tremendous prospect that he's handed the vote before going on to better things. His Highness didn't perform well in heavy ground at Roscommon last time and conditions here may be against him but The Westerner Boy is another who could prove to be a very useful chaser despite his bumper defeat at Gowran as he'd looked a superb prospect when scoring between the flags earlier. Klepht has shown plenty of ability and is just the type to make a chaser while Panther Claw made an impression on his second point-to-point start and connections have paid a lot of money for him.
