In depth

Verdict

A high draw is usually best here and Shelly Banks couldn't be better berthed though the feeling is that she is vulnerable to something less exposed. WAIT A LITTLE fits the bill as she has plenty of winning sprinters in her pedigree and has a nice berth in stall 14. Another newcomer, Early Warning, is in the middle of the pack and the $400,000 half-brother to Sergei Prokofiev is an obvious contender for the in-form Joseph O'Brien. Basharat may do best of those with a recent run as he probably wasn't suited by soft ground at Naas.
