Verdict

Dactik likes the trip and the ground and showed himself in good form at Cork, though he hasn't won for over two years. Samanntom gained his first victory at Thurles in February and was running from a 7lb higher mark when making a gallant attempt to make all here last month. He's up another 3lb but will take some pegging back. OSCAR SAM (NAP) has the ideal trip and conditions which he showed once again when just touched off by Duty Dance at Navan in March. He has the potential to go on to better things and looks the one to be on. Don Franco should be winning soon, though all of his runs to date have been over the minimum trip and his latest effort was on quicker ground.
