It's hard to believe Connor King is still an apprentice after a deluge of winners in recent weeks including a four-timer at Cork on Tuesday. He's picked up a fair ride here on Apache Gold though his mount could probably do with the ground firming up. Diamond Daze has been racing on Polytrack but she enjoys some cut in the ground and is well handicapped on her mid-summer form from last year. Sweet Annathea scored over the course and distance last month but that was on very fast going and she couldn't cope with softer ground and a 9lb rise at Galway. Khelino, who was behind her in that race on this track, can get closer on these terms and easier going. SAMOLLIE has never won on Turf but three times on Polytrack. She's best with some give and her overall form in these conditions gives her a fine chance of finally getting a victory.
