In depth

Verdict

HAROLD'S CROSS has been threatening to win a race and finally got everything right at Killarney. He's been raised 12lb for that success but now in the winning groove can go on to better things. Hot Friend was having his 26th career start when beating Marathon Leader impressively over the C&D last month and though 7lb higher looks a major threat to the selection. Jawad doesn't win very often but he's 8lb lower than at this time a year ago and looks to be running into a bit of form. Ahorsecalledmolly ran poorly at Gowran and appears better over longer trips.
