Verdict

THE FOX'S DECREE has threatened to land the spoils on various occasions in the past 12 months but remains a maiden despite plenty of respectable placed efforts in handicap company. In some ways it's rather disappointing to see him dropped to this level but he's certainly worth another shout, especially with the stable conditional taking off a valuable 10lb. Yabora was of the few inmates that Charlie Longsdon failed to eke a win out of last season but still showed enough to suggest he'll go close on his first venture into this lowly grade for new connections. Final Flyer failed to fire last time but also enters the equation if reproducing the form of a couple of runner-up efforts in the spring.
