Verdict

Last year's shock Cheltenham Foxhunter winner It Came To Pass will be warming up for another crack and though a long way behind Stand Up And Fight when the latter won at Fairyhouse in November can get much closer this time. On The Sod was unbeaten in four point-to-points and a hunter-chase before well beaten behind Billaway at Naas when WINGED LEADER finished in front of him. The latter had beaten Jury Duty by 6 lengths at Portrush in October and Barry O'Neill can steer him to another victory though it wouldn't be a shock to see Gordon Elliott's charge turn the tables. Last year's winner Macs Legend is now thirteen but still capable of winning races as he showed at Kinsale in December.
