Verdict

De Plotting Shed has to concede plenty of weight here but was a very convincing winner over this trip at Navan on his reappearance. He'll make a bold bid to complete the double but BENTELIMAR looks to have the edge providing he can be forgiven a poor effort at Punchestown last week. Shay Barry's seven-year-old had finished in front of Gordon Elliott's charge in a tough Punchestown handicap in April when conceding 12lb so should be capable of taking care of him again despite the latter having a claimer on board. Val De Ferbet is a very useful hurdler on his day though the Grade 2 winning chaser will be heading back to the bigger obstacles before long and could just find the ground a bit lively. Letter Of Credit and Maggio are also chasers and the latter produced a real shock when landing a Listed contest at Aintree in April.
